Apple and Cinnamon Tea with Ginger

Homemade tea? This festive apple and cinnamon tea with ginger from Lena is quick, easy to make and delicious. This recipe will soon count amongst your Christmas favourites. Just try it!

Ingredients: (for 2 large pots of tea)

  • 2 apples
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 10 cloves
  • 1 organic lemon
  • 1 piece of ginger (3-4 cm)

 

 

Preparation:

1. Cut the apples into very thin slices. Spread them out on baking paper on a baking tray and dry them at 180°C in a fan oven for approx. 2 hours.

2. Mix the apples, cinnamon and cloves in a jar.

3. For one pot of tea, put a handful of apple slices, a cinnamon stick and some cloves in a tea pot. Pour boiling water over. Add slices of lemon and ginger. Allow the tea to brew for 8-10 minutes.
